Nera wants you to know that you are a star and that you are perfect for who you are.

Being differently abled is not wrong.

Being different makes you strong.

Nera Star was born with splayed legs. Her muscles, ligaments, and joints prevent her from standing like the average bunny. Despite her condition, she is still able to get around on her own. When she moves around, we say that she is floating on star dust.

Nera is happy, healthy, comfortable, playful, loving, and doesn't know that she's different. We took Nera in when she was about 3 months old, and she is now over 3 years old and doing great.

We are a nonprofit animal sanctuary with a focus on differently abled animals. We take quality of life seriously, and our animals also see specialized veterinarians.

We rely on your support to do everything that we do for these rescue babies. You all are animal heroes! You can help us raise money for the medical fund as well as celebrate Nera Star and differently abled animals by purchasing a "You Are A Star" shirt, tank, hoodie, sweater, etc.
