1 in 8 children are at risk for hunger!

Hunger deprives children of more than just food; it impacts their mental and physical health and also affects academic performance, their ability to concentrate, their motivation, and conduct.

HTM, Inc. are current Partners in Education with Cobb County and Marietta City Title I Schools in which children from low-income families make up at least 40% of enrollment.

Therefore, to alleviate the affects of hunger, we have implemented the In-School "Helpers" Pantry as an opportunity to eliminate hunger for all students, not limited to students who receive free or reduced lunch; therefore, promoting student excellence by removing these stressors while in school.

We achieve this through on-campus food pantries, providing free non-perishable food items for students and their families who may need extra help affording groceries; as a means to steadily support in filling gaps of food insecurity within our community.
