My son Hux who was 3 years old at the time loved to play, dance and run outside and just because he was nonverbal he would always let you know what he wanted. If he wasn?t outside he was watching his favorite show Ladybug and Cat Noir. Then one day everything changed on July 2 2021, the day of Hux diagnosis of ATRT, brain cancer. He went through 9 months of treatment and rang the bell April 12 2022 and his scan on May 1 was clean! Hux who is now 6 years old, who still loves his Ladybug and Cat Noir and is in kindergarten now, still loves to be outside and has been learning to run again has remained no evidence of disease ( knock on wood) for the past 2 years. However because of the treatments he had and his syndrome of Phelan Mcdermind he has had some major side effects including spine surgery, pulmonary hypertension and radiation damage, which are all stable! ( knock on wood) LETS KEEP DESTROYING ATRT HUX!
