July 12th is 17q12 awareness day, and we have so much to celebrate this year. Last year we celebrated our first ever awareness day and had our first family conference as an official group. We ended the year with a bang after we met our goal of raising enough funds to begin a much needed medical registry for chromosome 17q12 disorders. Our goal is to continue to push forward for more research and advocacy for 17q12. We hope to raise enough funds for a family conference in 2021.
