The American Childhood Cancer Organization (ACCO) is excited to bring back the name block shirts for September Childhood Cancer Awareness Month 2024! Our GO GOLD? shirts will carry the names of childhood cancer fighters: those who survived, those still fighting, and those no longer with us. There will be two versions of the shirts, in honor and in memory. All of these names represent someone?s child, grandchild, brother, sister, cousin or friend. Please join us to raise awareness of these incredible children and their fight against cancer.
Three ways to raise awareness this Childhood Cancer Awareness Month:
- Option 1: Purchase your name block shirt here: https://try.bonfire.com/acco/
- Option 2: Purchase a non-personalized shirt here: https://www.bonfire.com/store/accorg/
- Option 3: Purchase a brand-new CCAM Yard Flag here: https://try.bonfire.com/acco/
Please note: there are multiple options for the ?in honor? shirts and the ?in memory? shirts. Shirts are organized by first name alphabetically. There will be four ?in honor? shirts and two ?in memory? shirts. Shirts are split up, as follows:
You can find which shirt your child?s name appears on by clicking here. Use the find and replace function to locate your child?s name. Search within the spreadsheet using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + f (? + f on a Mac).
Your donation and/or purchase of a 2024 CCAM Name Shirt helps support ACCO's What About Kids State Research Initiative. ACCO has secured $98.8 million in state funding for childhood cancer research across 7 states. Financial support from our donors enables us to expand this innovative childhood cancer research funding program.
Donations also provide children with cancer and their families the informational resources needed to understand childhood cancer treatment in age-appropriate, easy-to-comprehend terminology. Education of even the littlest cancer patient is essential to understanding the difficult battle ahead. Our medical play kit provides children the opportunity to practice treatment procedures on ACCO?s mascot ?Cozy? to empower them before receiving the treatments themselves.
