Children Healthcare of Atlanta completed our first transplant in 1980. Throughout the years we have had the opportunity to give children as well as their families a second chance of life. This campaign was designed to honor families that have received a transplant by Children Healthcare of Atlanta. Families had the opportunity to give their names to go on the corresponding organ that they received in a form of a wordcloud. This is a randomly generated picture that reminds us that the families are not alone. As we move though 2025, we are projected to reach our 2000th Transplant. In honor of the momentum occasion, we are planning a celebration to honor the families and staff that has made this possible in early 2026.
