I?ve seen the psychiatric care system from both sides of the hospital bed.

As a psychiatric Registered Nurse, I see the gaps in our healthcare system every day. But my passion for this work doesn't just come from my degree?it comes from my own journey. Having navigated my own mental health struggles, I?ve experienced firsthand the lack of resources and the systemic flaws that make it difficult for people to find safety and healing.

I?ve dedicated my career to making psychiatric care safer and more compassionate, but clinical work is only one piece of the puzzle. To truly save lives, we need systemic change.

Why I Support AFSPI am fundraising for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) because they tackle the crisis from every angle:
