The Elakha Alliance and the Oregon Zoo are hosting the 5th Annual Oregon Otter Beer Festival fundraiser on April 11th, 2026 all in the name of working towards returning sea otters to Oregon. The non-profit challenged 11 local Oregon Breweries to make a ?sea otter themed? beer utilizing Maris Otter Malt. Each brewery is donating a portion of their otter beers sales back to the Elakha Alliance, and the Oregon Otter Beer Festival is a chance to celebrate their tasty concoctions for a cause. We're also pleased to announce 5 other beverage participants including cider, wine, and ginger beer! The Festival guests will have the special opportunity to vote for their otter-fan-favorite, meanwhile a panel of judges will select their top winners for various otter-beer titles. Awards will be given out at the end of the evening to the winning breweries.  

The Festival will feature an exclusive door prize raffle and a special premium raffle, with outstanding coastal-themed experiences and unique artwork. There will also be DJ Bryson Wallace, delicious food, and complimentary sparking water and soda.
