This BFK Student Art Context was created in collaboration with our partners from the Clarke County School District. We invited students from grades K-8 to create and submit art with the prompt, "Where do books take you?"
After a lengthy selection process, we weren't able to choose just one so we ended up with two winners for the inaugural T-shirt contest!
This shirt, whose art is titled, "A Whole New World" was brought to life by a 2nd grade student in Clarke County named Leah.
Both winners will receive a $100 gift card to local Athens, GA book store, Avid Bookshop, to find their next favorite reads.
All proceeds from this campaign will go towards raising funds for our Spring Book distributions to help provide 12 brand new, free books for students across 20 schools in North Georgia.
