Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is home to (at least) 660 bee species. Given that there are just 770 species found east of the Mississippi River, GSENM is a true hot spot for biodiversity. Pollinators are the basis of nearly every terrestrial ecosystem, and the monument's bees create a living laboratory for studying these essential bee-flower relationships.

We're opening orders again after multiple successful runs of our popular bees shirt, featuring detailed images of 4 bees found on the monument. Proceeds from this run will support Partners' on-the-ground programs and future research that will help us understand and protect the bees of GSENM.

Grand Staircase Escalante Partners is a non-profit organization committed to supporting and promoting Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument and its natural, cultural, and scientific resources. We share monument science through educational programs, carry out restoration and monitoring projects, and advocate for land management policies that support the biodiversity of this region.
