Austin was born still on April 10th, 2020 at 39 weeks and 4 days gestation. The entire pregnancy was considered normal, almost too easy. But our world was turned upside down when there was no heartbeat at our 39 week appointment.

Over 26,000 babies are stillborn in the United States each year. We have found peace by supporting numerous organizations over the last four years that help raise awareness of stillbirth, promote research, and support families after such a devastating loss.

The Adalyn Rose Foundation is a local organization to us, and one that we wish we knew from day one. They enable families to build special memories with their baby in the hospital thanks to their Remembrance Carts. They support the transition of planning to bring home a baby to honoring your baby. And they create a welcoming environment in all of their community events where families can honor their babies loudly without fear.
