Hey y?all, as most of y?all know I hold Africa very close and dear to my heart. Ever since 2nd grade I have always wanted to go to Africa and felt like God was telling me to just go. Just like it says in Isaiah 6:8 ?I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? And I said, ?Here am I; send me!? At the time I was only 8 years old and didn?t really know why God placed Africa on my heart until 2016. In 2016 I got the opportunity to watch the SOZO children perform from Uganda, Africa. At that moment when I saw those kids perform I knew I needed to go experience Africa. After this I became more and more drawn to Africa. So in 2022 I was able to take my dreams and make them real life by going to Africa for about 2 weeks. That trip made me realize why little me wanted to go to Africa and why God wanted me to go to Africa. That trip changed my life and my view point on the world. Working with children is a passion of mine, so working with the children in Africa was a life changing experience. While working with the children in Africa, there was one child that stuck out to me. This child?s name was Suubi. Suubi helped me realize the joy that America has lost. Even though Suubi didn?t have very much she still showed so much joy and happiness. Suubi helped show me what true happiness is. As some of y?all may know my goal is to become a missionary in Africa and to become a teacher there if God allows. These trips help me grow and strengthen my heart towards Africa, because Africa is truly my home away from home. With all of this being said I?m so happy to announce that I will be taking another life changing trip to Uganda, Africa this summer!! The only thing is, I can?t do this without your help! So I?m going to be doing a T-shirt fundraiser to support my trip to Africa!! Africa truly means so much to me and if you would like to help I would greatly appreciate it :)
