Glenda was force bred, her babies taken from her and she was dumped in the desert near Lancaster California. She was picked up by good samartin and taken to the Lancaster Animal Care Center. The Stand Up For Pits Foundation went to the shelter on Nov 24th 2024 to feed all the animals for Thanksgiving and found Glenda in terrible condition. She would have died had SUFP not gotten her to the hospital that day. After weeks of treatment fir a severe URI and mammary infections, she was released from the hospital and was fostered by the SUFP Foundation Founder and has now become one of the new faces of the organization. Glenda represents the horrors so many dogs are going through in this country. People are using these dogs as commodities and hobbies for profit and disposing of them like garbage. It must end and one real way to help make that happen would be to ban breeding. Until that happens the SUFP Foundation is dedicated to spaying and neutering as many pit bull type dogs as possible nationwide. Proceeds from this campaign will go to our national program that dows exactly that called Spay & Neuter Angel Day. Our goal is to prevent as many other precious souls from going through what Glenda endured and lower shelter intake and kill numbers. (SUFP recieves $22 per garment. The rest goes to Bonfire). If you'd like to donate directly to the Stand Up For Pits Foundation, you can do so at www.standupforpits.us. Thank you for supporting the work we do to help save inherently good souls.
