The ?Be Good Out Loud? campaign is a fundraising initiative by The Leveler News, a progressive, non-partisan community news project based in Yonkers, New York. The campaign invites people everywhere to wear their values and stand for truth, empathy, and courage at a time when those ideals are under threat.

Our goal is to rebuild trust in journalism from the ground up, remind people of the power they have to make their world a better place for all, and hold leaders accountable to the communities they serve. This mission is to create even ground for the ?City of Hills? and to model to the news industry how community-powered journalism that is reflective and inclusive can rebuild local trust both in news and between people.
