Hi there! My name is Joanne Wetzel. I am a Dog + Rescue Photographer at my company, Five Freedoms Photography.
A few years ago, I picked up a camera with the mission of photographing shelter and rescue pets to help get them adopted.
Because photos can truly make an animal stand out especially harder-to-adopt animals, such as medical cases, seniors, only-pet animals, Heartworm Positive animals, and the like.
Since our inception back in 2019, we have photographed well over 500 rescue dogs (honestly, I've probably lost count) and raised over $22K for dog rescue across Wake County.
