About this campaign
Belize Hawk Watch 2025 - Belize Bird Conservancy
The Belize Bird Conservancy has been monitoring raptor migration along the southern coastline of Belize during southbound autumn migration since 2013. This year marks the 13th year of conducting raptor migration counts at the Belize Hawk Watch!
The 2025 Belize Hawk Watch team t-shirt features a soaring Hook-billed Kite in the clouds, a common sight here during fall migration! The Hook-billed Kite is our focal species at the hawk watch and the species that inspired this migration monitoring site in Belize. This year's amazing artwork was drawn by Diana Mu?oz, a raptor ecologist and graduate student at the University of California, Davis. All funds and donations raised from our team t-shirt campaigns go directly toward sustaining the Belize Hawk Watch program.

In 2023, we published our findings on Hook-billed Kite migration based on observations by the team at the Belize Hawk Watch: https://journal.afonet.org/vol94/iss1/art5/
