1 in 7 children will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the time they reach age 25 in Pennsylvania. This number does not even include other relationships such as extended family members, friends, community members, or teachers, etc.

Join us in November. Blue is the color of Children's Grief Awareness.

Wear these items and let it be a conversation starter about the prevalence of grieving children in our community and that A Haven is here not only for these grieving children, teens, and young adults but also their caregivers, families, and we are also here to equip you, the community, in how to best support a grieving child.

A Haven, ( www.ahaven.org ) supports children, teens, and young-adults (ages 3-25) and their caregivers when someone has died. Our mission is to partner with grieving families by providing grief support, outreach to the community, education, and hope.
