The members of Groton City Fire Department, Local 1964 are honored to stand in support of those affected by breast cancer. As firefighters, we witness strength and resilience every day, and we recognize the extraordinary courage of those battling this disease. We also pay tribute to those we have lost, honoring their legacy and the impact they leave behind.
In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, our department is proudly selling custom-designed shirts to raise awareness for this critical cause. To further demonstrate our commitment, our members will be wearing these shirts while on duty throughout the month of October.
Together, we can honor, support, and continue the fight against breast cancer. We invite our community to stand with us in this mission.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Connecticut Breast Health Initiative (CT BHI), an organization dedicated to funding breast cancer research and education across the state. More information about their mission and impact can be found at www.ctbhi.org.
