Brielle has worked numerous wildlife positions across the western U.S. conducting surveys for endangered frogs, spotted owls, prairie dogs, green sea turtles, and more. She completed her M.S. at Cal Poly Humboldt in May 2025 studying elk behavior around highways to inform a detection system aimed at reducing elk-vehicle collisions on the northwest coast of California. Presently, she is involved with wildlife work on the Tahoe National Forest while also managing her wildlife-focused art business Brush & Bark.

Established in 1968, Conservation Unlimited Alumni Association is the longest-running alumni organization at Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University) and is comprised of graduates from the College of Natural Resources and Sciences. Our mission is to foster a lifelong commitment to conserving natural resources and we currently function as a 509(a)(2) charitable organization dedicated to supporting the academic and professional development of HSU natural resources students through awards, scholarships, loans, and networking opportunities.
