The Dental Health Moose pilot aims to increase equitable access to dental supplies by distributing kits to families during the primary care well-child visit. The Dental Health Moose kit contains a toothbrush for each family member, toothpaste, dental floss, and oral health educational material. The project is currently being piloted at 20 primary care sites across the state of Maine and has been well received by both families and physicians.
