This year, I?m proud to be walking in support of Breakthrough T1D, and I would love your support!

Earlier this year, I started working at Breakthrough T1D, and getting to see this community up close has been incredibly meaningful! Every day I meet families, kids, and adults living with type 1 diabetes?a condition that requires constant monitoring, insulin, and countless daily decisions just to stay healthy.

While I don?t personally have type 1 diabetes, I do live with chronic illnesses. Because of that, I understand what it?s like to navigate doctor?s appointments, unpredictable health days, and the ways chronic conditions can shape everyday life. That perspective is a big part of why this mission means so much to me!

I?m walking not just because of my job, but because I truly believe in the work being done to fund life-changing research for better treatments?and ultimately, a cure. My hope is that fewer people in the future will have to live with the challenges of a lifelong chronic condition!
