California Alliance for Community Composting will be hosting a 3-day art exhibition Gathering Ground: A celebration of compost art and culture in Sacramento, CA from February 1-3, 2026. All proceeds from the sale of these graphic t-shirts and hoodies will go toward supporting the 20+ artists who have agreed to participate in this exhibit. Our goal is $2K in 10 days!

This art exhibit will be a way and a place for all stakeholders in the organic waste management sector (legislators, commercial & municipal providers, community composters, and farmers) to come together and have a productive dialogue about how we can all WORK TOGETHER to make our communities more self-reliant, responsible, and environmentally-minded stewards of healthy soil. The impact of getting everyone in a room to celebrate compost's joy and beauty is huge ? and the need to reduce and recover food waste has never been more urgent.
