About this campaign
HEY BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE! I'm Mari but you can call me Little Miss Flint. I am 10 years old and since I was 6 I have been dealing with a serious water crisis in my hometown.
Thousands of kids were exposed to lead and more toxins in our water. It is so bad I can't even use a slip-n-slide or take a bubble bath like a regular carefree kid.
Everyone got to know me after I asked President Obama to make a visit to Flint after I wrote him a letter. I even became a meme. I have been advocating for Flint and I won't stop until we have clean (tap drinkable) water. I am a Youth Ambassador for the Women's March on Washington, Equality For HER, and the Climate March. As a Flint kid I want to make sure that Flint kids are not forgotten.
There are so many things I want to do to help Flint kids to continue to succeed and to thrive regardless of a messed up situation with our water.
As you know, this shirt is an amazing way to not only help Flint kids but also help raise awareness that the Flint Water Crisis is not over and we need to make sure it doesn?t get forgotten.
Thank You.
