the first part in a larger body of work. this series borrows the format of tattoo flash sheets as a mode of storytelling?to investigate visual language and materiality of contemporary indigenous + mvskoke creek identity. i?ve always been inspired by tattoo culture, both ancestral and contemporary. for this series in particular, i lean into contemporary tattoo forms and culture as my guiding aesthetic framework.
