Sally was out of time and set to be killed at the Baldwin Park Shelter and Todd too was to be killed at the Lancaster Animal Care Center. Both mislabeled and had been failed and abused by humans. Both saved by the Stand Up For Pits Foundation. Sally did not like any other dogs except for one -- her Todd. Together they healed one another and taught each other to heal and trust. Their love for one another grew into love story like no other. Sally and Todd are further proof of the inherent goodness these dogs are born with. Not even the evils of humanity could break them or their spirits. Sally was used repeatedly for breeding and her ears had been mutilated and Todd is the only survivor of a multiple state dogfighting operation. They knew nothing but horror yet loved humanity and each other anyway. The world would be a better place if humans were more like these dogs.
