Adam will be riding his bicycle 564 miles across New York State in just six days, starting at Wagner College in Staten Island and finishing in Niagara Falls. Each cyclist is challenged to raise $3,500 to support lifesaving cancer research.
From Adam?s fundraising page:
?This ride is very special to me, as my wife is also participating after battling breast cancer for three years. She is now in remission, and I am in awe of her strength and courage. I am proud to say that Heather has knocked out cancer ? and now she will fight for others.?
That?s right, our girl ?Heather Kaiser-Ford has also committed to ride 160 miles from Weedsport, NY to Niagara Falls! Heather?s fundraising goal is $2,000, and she sees this ride as an opportunity to help shape the future of cancer research and treatment while honoring everyone affected by cancer.
Riding across New York is not for the faint of heart. It takes endurance, courage, and a commitment to something greater than oneself. Adam and Heather are taking on this challenge not only to help end cancer but to honor the friends and family who have endured treatment. Their strength and resilience inspire them every mile and give them hope along the way.
As the Empire State Ride celebrates its 12th anniversary, Adam and Heather are proud to be part of this mission with one clear purpose: to help end cancer. They hope this ride will make a meaningful impact on the future of cancer research and treatment while honoring everyone who has been affected by this disease.
Adam and Heather are incredibly grateful for your support over the past few years. Your generosity gives them hope that one day?together?we can end cancer.
Great news! We were able to lower the cost from last year ? While the t-shirt isn?t our main fundraiser, every bit of support helps! We?re still counting on donations and candy bar sales to power our ride, but we?re excited to offer a fresh, updated 2026 t-shirt for anyone who would like one. Thank you for being part of this journey with us!
