World Relief Spokane and Refugee and Immigrant Connections Spokane are partnering to bring you this message of belonging in solidarity with refugees and immigrants in our community.
This design by the RICS team reflects the heart of the people of Spokane who support refugee and immigrant communities.
Everyone belongs somewhere, let it be here.
We chose to feature Spokane landmarks, the Monroe Street Bridge and Riverfront Park?s Expo ?74 butterfly for a reason.
When refugee and immigrant families arrive in Spokane, there is so much uncertainty to face. Local agencies like RICS and World Relief Spokane serve as a bridge. Much like the Monroe Street Bridge which connects our city, we walk alongside and provide pathways for refugee and immigrant families to find the resources, belonging, and opportunities they need to rebuild their lives and put down roots in Spokane.
The graceful butterfly represents migration, the journey of making your way through difficult times to find a soft, welcoming space to land. Spokane is that place.
Join World Relief Spokane and RICS as we stand with our refugee and immigrant neighbors.
Proceeds from Everywhere Belongs Somewhere directly support the programs and services offered by Refugee and Immigrant Connections Spokane and World Relief Spokane.
