Our sweet daughter Joanna was born with a one-in-a-million rare genetic disorder called Alternating Hemiplegia of Childhood (AHC) ? caused by a mutation in the ATP1A3 gene. AHC is unpredictable and life-altering, bringing sudden episodes of paralysis and other neurological challenges that have no cure.
