M. Ozark Hansen lives and works at Ozark Akerz Regenerative Farm in Coleridge, North Carolina.
"I love to draw and paint our Pineywoods Cattle. Pineywoods are a rare breed of cattle descending from the southwest of Spain and Portugal. My latest artwork of our bull Rocky got such great feedback that I decided it would make a good addition to our Graze Against The Machine (our farms tagline) shirt collection. I cropped the original painting to a square for the shirt, reminiscent of a vinyl album cover and added Graze Against The Machine over top."

CFSA are doing some wonderful work reducing food insecurity while supporting small organic and regenerative farms. They are also heavily involved in advocating for funding for farms in NC and SC recovering from Hurricane Helene and for NC and SC farms that are being affected economically by the current USDA funding freeze.
