Mae, the cow, was rescued with her mom after being confiscated by Animal Control from a home in Southern Nevada. Mae was only a couple days old. Holly and Mae are the reason that we created the sanctuary. Holly passed away in September 2022 from cancer. Mae misses her immensely. Deacon, the goat, was born on February 20, 2022. He came from a weed abatement facility in Southern CA with two other newborns, who have since found an amazing home. We selected these two friends to rock these cute Halloween costumes because they have large personalities. Both of them would trick or treat if we let them. Mae wanted to be an octopus, because she wants tentacles to hold as many apples and watermelons as possible. Deacon asked to be a mythical creature with immense power so he could create more chaos and wreak more havoc.
