March 2026 Updates:

Hello! To everyone who have purchased or is currently purchasing, I wanted to let y?all know that the funds were already brought back to my family?s home in Centeal Vietnam and all directly distributed to elders, a school for people with disabilities, and folks in more impoverished communities. Truly couldn't have done it with everyone?s support ? I also wanted to say that the money that comes from this fundraiser now will go to local grassroots community groups that are supporting anti-ICE efforts ??. Thank you for the continuous support!

December 2025:

I made this piece a couple years ago during my time watching cooking shows with my grandma at the hospital. I saw @menminmade's piece "Have you eaten yet?" and was inspired to make a Viet version. I probably heard the words "have you eaten yet?" more than "I love you" in my lifetime but now I understand how loving those words are. For our Vietnamese parents and elders who survived on empty stomachs not knowing when the next meal will come, the words "con ?n c?m chua?" is one of the most profound statement of love. This drawing is a declaration of love for my family, my culture and myself. I want to be able to take this piece and give back to my people and to raise funds for communities back in Central Vietnam-- where my parents were born. I'll be going back to the homeland with my family in December and hoping that the money raised here will go directly to those affected by the recent flooding and help support with their recovery. ?
