We are coming up Rosie this week after HB2251 officially passed through the House Health and Human Services Committee! We still have a lot of work to do to keep this bill moving through it's journey to becoming law.

HB2251 is a common-sense Arizona bill that modernizes licensed midwifery care to align with national safety standards. It allows licensed midwives to carry and administer a small, clearly defined set of life-saving medications used to prevent and treat emergencies like postpartum hemorrhage?medications that are already standard in community birth care across much of the country. This bill strengthens safety, preserves midwifery autonomy, and expands access to evidence-based maternity care for Arizona families. Proceeds from this shirt support advocacy efforts to ensure safe, regulated, and accessible midwifery care in our state.
