We love all native Hawaiian birds, particularly the iconic 'I'iwi. The gorgeous ?I?iwi was once one of the most common forest birds in the main Hawaiian Islands but today exists on Hawai'i Island, Maui, and Kaua'i only. Like other honeycreepers, 'I'iwi have declined drastically due to diseases spread by introduced mosquitoes. With climate change heating up our mountains, the range of mosquitoes has increased, causing further declines of unique honeycreepers. Wear this shirt and spread awareness of the unique 'I'iwi.
