Help us raise money for a local advocacy organization, Ulster Immigrant Defense Network. With the ramping up of ICE raids, unjust mass separations of families, and for-profit "detention centers" that dehumanize people, it is more important than ever that we direct our finances towards ways that we can help our immediate communities. Ulster Immigrant Defense Network provides a network of safety and support to immigrants, regardless of status and is committed to building a world of racial justice, equity and inclusion, and respect for diversity. They also work closely with Ulster Rapid Response, who gathers and when possible responds to reports of ICE activity in Ulster County.

We are all immigrants, and to migrate is natural. Do not allow the racist and xenophobic rhetoric convince you that immigration is a new thing, nor a problem. Immigrants are our neighbors and friends. We all deserve freedom to seek safety and the best lives for our selves.
