On January 13, 2026, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have undergone extensive testing including scans and biopsies which have revealed it is spreading (metastatic). I never would have known if I had skipped my annual mammogram (which I almost did, crazy to think). I am grateful to the many medical professionals who have been so kind, caring, diligent and positive. I am humbled to be a patient when I am used to being on the other side. Matt has been by my side the entire time and is my rock. We pray and feel God's presence in my care. I am no longer crying myself to sleep; I am praying for full recovery and return to full life. Many people have asked what I need and truly I have only asked for prayers.
