This #GivingTuesday, show your support for the rights, well-being and dignity of people across the Americas with CEDA?s limited edition Las Americas t-shirt. Each shirt symbolizes a commitment to convening coalitions and supporting communities across borders.

We worked with independent Havana-based designer Marlon White to create our branded "Las Americas" flower map, a design showcasing native flowers from across the Americas.

Artist Statement:

Todos estamos conectados, los problemas y las dificultades de algunos deber?an importarle a los otros, la belleza y particularidades nos hacen ?nicos e irrepetibles, esas conexiones nos hacen seres humanos. Buscar la empat?a, luchar por ideales son aspectos de este ecosistema que llamamos mundo.

CEDA es a mis ojos una red que nutre a las flores de Las Am?ricas, que conecta necesidades con soluciones, trasciende las razas, los hemisferios y los estratos sociales, busca los positivo en las situaciones m?s complejas, busca nuevos colores y especies, tambi?n lucha para proteger a las comunidades que son amenazadas.

El ser humano se parece m?s a las flores de lo que imaginamos.

We are all connected; the problems and difficulties of some should matter to all. Beauty and individuality make us unique and irreplaceable, and our connections make us human. Seeking empathy and fighting for ideals are essential aspects of the ecosystem we call the world.

To me, CEDA is a network that nurtures the flowers in the Americas. It connects needs with solutions, transcends race, hemispheres, and social status. It finds the positive in most complex situations, seeks new colors and species, and fights to protect communities under threat.

Humans resemble flowers more than we realize.
