One day before his 16th birthday, on 12/20/24, Leo Larocque took his last breath here on earth. Throughout his short life, he left an indelible mark on all that he encountered, & touched the hearts of so so many. To know Leo was to love him, and to witness his unending courage & immeasurable strength, was truly remarkable. After battling multiple times against a relentless and cruel cancer, called Ewing?s sarcoma, Leo?s physical body was just too tired. His spirit however, was resilient, unbreakable, & he fought to the very end. Leo endured far more than any human should have to. He was thrown a multitude of devastating curveballs, faced numerous daunting challenges, & was dealt hand after hand of terribly unfair cards. However, Leo never complained, he rejected pity, and he always saw life through a lens of optimism & hope. He faced a plethora of grueling cancer treatments, a lower left leg amputation, multiple debilitating surgeries, and was given bad news time & time again. Yet somehow, his ability to find silver linings, his determination, and his appreciation for life, remained unshaken. He was a blessing to this world, and the type of human being we should ALL strive to be. Although he is no longer physically here on earth, Leo?s spirit will live on in those who were touched by his wisdom, courage, & selflessness. His memory will continue to make a lasting impact on the lives of those he inspired, & the hearts of those that loved him. Through sharing Leo?s story, he will forever be remembered, and by choosing to Live Like Leo, his legacy will truly live on for eternity. #LeoStrong #LiveLikeLeo
