About this campaign
With the internet, we can easily connect to people across the world, but we often forget the people right next door. We all have stories to share?and we can all benefit from reading stories from those who experience the same weather, go to same football game or coffeeshop, and drink the same river water.
Local Honey Magazine is a space where local writers can share their stories, their poems, their reflections on life.
Local honey?the kind made by local bees?is often a remedy for allergies. Local bees use pollen from flowers that make you sneeze, but once transformed into honey, that same pollen can help build up your immune system.
We can find the same type of solace and support when we invest in our local artists and writers, when we take those things that make us sneeze and cry?and transform them into a sweet balm.
Local Honey Magazine cannot guarantee that consuming local honey will make you immune from the bee stings of life or neighbors, but we hope a short story and a poem or two can help you celebrate the beauty blooming in our local community.
