After months of fighting for a diagnosis, Charlotte was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2022, at just 2 yrs old. Emergency brain surgery led to Charlotte becoming a St. Jude patient. There, she received treatment and began her recovery. She relearned how to walk, talk, be comfortable with food, and even received her first pair of hearing aids. Now, she is a happy and spunky kid. She's learning to play ice hockey, goes to sissy's cheer competitions, and in 2025 she walked her very first 5k at the St. Jude race weekend. She is the definition of hope.
No family ever receives a bill from St. Jude. They ensure that families do not have to worry about the medical bills, food, travel, or housing. This allows families to focus on their child and their families instead of the finances. Thanks to St. Jude, the recovery rate for childhood cancer has jumped from 20% in 1962 to 80% in 2025. There is still a ways to go to ensure no child dies from cancer.
Supporting this campaign supports children like Charlotte and families like hers.
