From September 17th - October 17th, Morgan Autism Center families, staff and supporters will ?Move-for-MAC? by walking, biking, running or even swimming, to show their support for Morgan Autism Center. Participants can safely join in by engaging in physical exercise in their community at their own pace and in their own unique way.
Our Ask
In 1969, Morgan Autism Center began with the innovative idea that all children can learn. For the past 40 years, we have been the only organization in the Bay Area operating both a non-public school and an adult day program demonstrating that individuals of any age with profound autism can learn. Today, we are continuing our history of innovation by opening the only program in the Bay Area to offer 1:1 services and embedded speech services to adults with profound autism.
Because our families?and most importantly?our clients couldn?t wait, we opened our new Adaptive Skills Trainer (AST) program on a small scale this August even though our new Dream Campus 2.0 building will not be completed for another two years. To sustain our growth and ensure uninterrupted support throughout the construction of our new building, we aim to raise $100,000. This funding will enable us to rent additional space, complete essential renovations, and equip the area to serve our community effectively.
Your support will enable us to begin to expand the AST program now and provide the vital space needed for the adult and school programs during this critical construction period.
