Meet Felicia and the boy she inspired.
When my 9 year old Greyson saw a video called ?I Do Hard Things,? he didn?t just see someone facing challenges....he saw himself. Felicia, a 35 year old living with Marshall Syndrome shared her amazing story of courage and faith, and for the first time Greyson found someone who really understood what he was going through.
After we reached out, Felicia told us that she, too, had never met anyone else with Marshall Syndrome until now. Our connection with her has been instant and meaningful. But Felicia is currently facing a painful and overwhelming challenge after a life threatening infection, she needs her teeth removed and replaced with implants. She had a severe infection spread, and insurance is refusing to cover the cost.
Greyson and his brother Gabe really wanted to help. Their first idea was a lemonade stand (sweet, but hard to do in October ?), so together we decided to design shirts to raise awareness and funds. The front design came straight from Greyson?s own idea and sketch, refined into a digital artwork. He's very proud of his hearing aids and advocates for hearing loss often.
Every shirt purchased helps Felicia move one step closer to the life-changing dental surgery she needs.
Your support also helps raise awareness for those living with Marshall Syndrome (a rare connective tissue disorder that affects hearing, vision, joints, and more.)
When you wear this shirt, you?re sharing their story. A story of hope, connection, and courage in unseen battles.
?We may be rare, but we?re not alone.? ? Team Greyson for Felicia ?
