Camp Adam Fisher Inc

Camp Adam Fisher is a weeklong overnight camp for children with Type 1 diabetes, their brothers, sisters and friends ages 6-17. We also offer a Counselor in training (CIT) program for teenagers ages 16-17. Kids come from all over the southeast to experience this unique opportunity, while learning more about managing their diabetes, making new friends and having a blast.

It's a fact of life for kids with diabetes; they face a set of unique challenges. Which is why we think they deserve a set of unique opportunities. That's the big idea behind Camp Adam Fisher, an annual summer camp born in 1968 out of a father's wish for his daughter. Our mission is to offer all the experiences, lessons, and benefits of summer camp to children with Type 1 diabetes while teaching them how to live longer and healthier lives. We pledge to do so in a safe, well-monitored environment where professional attention can be afforded to each camper's individual needs. It's simple really-- a week of camp, packed with great activities, fun, friendship, and self-discovery.
