CrimsonRise is a nonprofit organization built by nonspeaking autistics and their allies. CrimsonRise stands on a simple truth that rethinks autism: nonspeaking does not mean nonthinking. Many autistic individuals have sensory and motor differences that make speech difficult, yet they possess rich inner lives, deep intelligence, and the full desire to learn, belong, and lead. CrimsonRise is a prototype of an organization that rests on this understanding of nonspeaking autistics.
