Who We Are
The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation (EGPAF) is a global leader in the fight to end HIV and AIDS in children, youth, and families. Founded in 1988 by Elizabeth Glaser, Susie Zeegen, and Susan DeLaurentis after Elizabeth and her children were diagnosed with HIV, EGPAF has transformed global prevention and care for families impacted by HIV.

Why It Matters
Despite significant progress, HIV remains a global crisis, especially for children.
300 children under 15 are newly infected with HIV every day.
50% of untreated children with HIV will die before their second birthday.
Each week, 4,000 adolescent girls and young women become newly infected with HIV.
