LGBTQ Freedom Fund pays bail to secure the safety and liberty of people in jail and immigration detention.
In tandem it works to build a critical mass in opposition to the cultures and policies of excessive and unjust incarceration of LGBTQ people.
Sexual minorities are three times more likely than other individuals to be incarcerated and according to the U.S. Department of Justice, 10 to 20 times more likely to be sexually assaulted in prison or jail.
