For 18 years, West Michigan has relied on Kids? Food Basket to show up when our children and families need us most. Because local children no longer have the safety net of school and school meals, we are needed now more than ever. From day one of school closures, Kids? Food Basket has been on the front line.
A virus cannot and will not stop the pressing problem of hunger.
A strong West Michigan depends on strong children and families. Kids? Food Basket is currently distributing healthy and nutritious meals to 70 distribution sites in Kent, Ottawa, Allegan and Muskegon counties. Since March 13, we have served over 350,000 emergency meals to our neighbors who are struggling during this crisis.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the rising costs of food, we are experiencing a 66% increase in our meal costs.
Kids? Food Basket is a charitably funded organization and depend on the generosity of our West Michigan community. Your donation helps us increase our purchasing power
and provide healthy, life-affirming meals to West Michigan children and families when it is needed most.
They need Kids? Food Basket, and we need you.
