SupportersThe WEA Children?s Fund?s mission is to ensure that Washington State public school children are provided the clothing and supplies they need to thrive in school, regardless of their family income.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that reimburses public school educators when purchasing clothing, shoes, and school supplies for needy children. During the 2021-2022 school year, over 1200 children were supported through the WEA Children's Fund.
The Fund was started in 1990 with a budget of $30,000, but now requires close to $100,000 per year to meet the demand of our students. It is because of generous donations that this program works. Just by shopping, you can help students in WA State. Please consider donating the money you planned to give to charity this year to help kids in your district, and other towns, across Washington.
