Pause Animal Wellness Sanctuary (PAWS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Northern Colorado.
At PAWS, our mission is to rescue and provide a haven for animals in need, beginning with dogs and cats, and growing to include horses, cows, and more. We?re also creating a space where people can reconnect with nature, their hearts, and the profound bond we share with animals. Through this sacred connection, we aim to cultivate a space for healing, understanding, and compassion for all living beings. PAWS is more than a sanctuary; it?s a heartfelt vision of a world where animals and people thrive together in harmony.
By purchasing a product from our store, you are supporting our vision while helping to spread awareness of this cause.
Starting and running a sanctuary from the ground up takes time, heart, and resources. Every donation through this campaign goes toward key milestones that bring our vision to life:
? Milestone #2: Sanctuary Development & Ongoing Operational Costs
- Caring for our current group of animal residents
- Website, email marketing, workflow management, and other technology licenses
- In-person fundraising event rental/marketing
- Purchasing a transport vehicle
- PACFA license and compliance
- Renovations for our soon-to-be physical space, including fencing, PACFA-required enclosures, and safety infrastructure
- Necessary equipment, supplies, and ongoing operational costs
We are also actively seeking a permanent home for the sanctuary. An anonymous donor has already stepped forward to help find the property, and we are looking for additional philanthropists, angel investors, or donors who want to help us secure a property in a way that aligns with our nonprofit mission.
