All proceeds will support the work of Project Second Chance, Contra Costa County Library's adult literacy program. Since 1984, Project Second Chance has helped over 7,100 Contra Costa County residents meet their English reading, writing, spelling, and conversation goals with free one-on-one tutoring by trained volunteers.


The beautiful artwork was designed by Project Second Chance adult learner Seda. Seda shares, ?Joining Project Second Chance has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. My tutor has been much more than a tutor?she became my closest friend and a part of our family. She supported me not only in improving my English but also in adapting to life in the United States as an immigrant... The words ?PSC Changed My Life?Learning. Friendship. Family.? summarize everything the program has meant to me.?
