This Rebel Bird was illustrated by me (Diana Clarke) to add our Brave Little State and the state's official bird, the small-but-mighty Hermit Thrush, to the growing movement to stand in solidarity with Minnesota and is an anti-authoritarian symbol to protest federal immigration enforcement operations. The design is based off of the Star Wars Rebel Alliance insignia and a nod to the Mockingjay symbol in The Hunger Games.
50% of listing profits directly benefits the Vermont Asylum Assistance Project (VAAP), which is working day and night to leverage funds to provide legal counsel for Vermont-based immigrants facing detention and deportation proceedings. These dollars make the biggest difference to the lives of the people who are most directly being affected by the government's horrible policies.
